CDO Hawaii is a registered domestic non-profit organization, and we are committed to increase the cultural awareness and education in Hawaii through Capoeira. Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian art form which blends martial arts, dance, acrobatics and music. It is does not rely on physical strength and is very playful, so people of all ages can train and play together. Not only does it improve your physical strength, flexibility and reflexes, but also improves your musicality and overall energy.

Capoeira Cordão de Ouro Hawaii is under the direction of Contra-mestre Duas Duzias (Cristiano Silva) from Minas Gerais, Brazil. We offer beginner and mixed level classes in Kalihi. If you would like to see live Capoeira, come to our stree roda on every First Friday in Chinatown!
